At The Dance Shop, you don't need to book an appointment to have your pointe shoes fitted; however, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment especially on weekends. We are equipped with highly trained pointe shoe fitters seven days a week, and have space for walk-ins every day, but we cannot guarantee that you will be fit without making an appointment. Please keep in mind that pointe shoe fittings can take between 15 minutes to an hour and we cannot begin a fitting if you arrive less than 45 minutes before we close.

*Please be advised that there may be a wait time for walk-ins, especially on weekends and particularrly in September.

Your First Pointe Shoe Fitting

Group Pointe Shoe Fittings (parties of 3 or more)

To Book an Appointment: Please call or email the store with your name, age, and preferred date/time to book a fitting and indicate whether this is your first time getting fit for pointe shoes or a repeat fitting (604-733-6116 or sales@thedanceshop.ca).

Walk Ins: Please arrive at least 45 minutes before we close to ensure we have enough time for your fitting.

What To Bring: It is very helpful if you can bring your last pair of pointe shoes to the fitting. Be sure to bring any toe accessories you wear inside your pointe shoes to your fitting. Please ensure if you are wearing tights to a fitting that they are convertible or footless as your shoe fitter will request to look at your feet!

We carry over 15 styles of Pointe shoes over several brands, and we are dedicated to finding you your best fit!

All shoes are return and exchangeable as long as they are new, unworn and un-sewn with your receipt. 

We also offer a pointe shoe discount program! Every 6th pair of shoes purchased from us is 50%!
